With a rich history and exotic cultures nestled among jungle-clad hills, the Thai province Kanchanaburi has a wide range of offerings for travelers.
Commemorate the experiences of war prisoners as you walk along the tracks of the Burma Railway, often called the “Death Railway.” Take in the fantastic view of the River Kwai down below.
Cross the Bridge of the River Kwai, a site of the Japanese invaders during World War II.
Gain a deeper understanding of Thailand’s war history at the JEATH War Museum. Browse through arresting galleries of paintings, drawings, photos, and maps made by former prisoners.

Complete your trip with a ride on the death railway.

After boarding a train, you will experience the region a little further as you ride along the Death Railway. While enjoying the remarkable views of the river and the stunning scenery, you will be crossing several original bridges constructed by Asian laborers and POWs. Your train ride will bring you to the Krasae Cave Station.

Optional extras:

You will have the option to befriend some elephants and hop on them too for an unforgettable ride. Enjoy to Learning about Thailand’s iconic animals. Activities that you shouldn’t miss such as Bathing with Elephants. These giant, majestic Animals suddenly seem cute and cuddly once in the water! The elephants love to be scrubbed and played with in the river. You take pole position climbing up on top splashing, spraying and having fun together.

Itinerary

07:30 pick up from your hotel lobby. 

Depart Bangkok in our private VIP A/C Mini van. Drive to Kanchanaburi.

10.30AM Visit Wat Thum sua, one of the most beautiful temples in Karnjana buri with a huge Buddha and nice scenery.

12.00PM Visit the Donrak war cemetery, Maintained by the commonwealth war grave commission.

13.00PM Lunch at a local restaurant.

14.00PM The bridge over the River kwai. Constructed by POWs labor through Thailand to Burma. Visit the eponymous bridge, Reconstructed after its bombardment by Allied forces.

14.45PM  War Museum and The Jeath museum, Giving an insight into the daily grind for prisoners working in jungle conditions under an unforgiving tropical 

Return. 2 hours and a half drive back to Bangkok
18.00pm Drop off at the hotel or any place you require.

13.15PM  Take a ride on the death railway. a journey along the notorious Thailand–Burma Death Railway from Kanchanaburi to Nam Tok is one of Thailand’s most scenic and most popular train rides. Though the views are lovely, it’s the history that makes the ride so special.

Krasae Cave and Wooden Railway bridge.
A picturesque wooden death railway bridge on the slope of a steep cliff.  A walk on the train track allows you to enjoy a nice view over the Kwae Noi river.  Close to the railway track is Krasae Cave. At present it is a place of worship with a sitting Buddha statue inside. During this tour we would stop and get off the train to visit the cave. (We would not be hiking up to the cave from the valley floor).
